Salome is an Advocate of the High court of Kenya. She obtained her undergraduate degree in law from the University of Nairobi (School of Law) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. Salome’s quiet demeanor, self-discipline and integrity continue to be a valuable asset in the professional tasks that she performs.
She is a valued member of the team working at Clifford Odhiambo & Company Advocates. She is part of the team that is currently defending a state corporation in a commercial suit before the High Court of Kenya in which the said institution has been sued in its capacity as a regulator for sum of Kshs. 250,000,000 (odd) by a Kenyan based multinational bank.
She is also part of a team that is studiously defending a private company in the High Court of Kenya in a complex fraud case of commercial in nature in which the firm is defending the said company’s asset valued in excess of Two billion Kenya Shillings. Salome has actively been involved in the drafting and preparation of pleadings filed in an ongoing appeal in the Court of Appeal in which the firm is advancing arguments in support of the appeal wherein the subject of the suit is valued at Kshs. 100,000,000.
Salome is also highly experienced in diverse corporate commercial and intellectual property matters including employment, data protection, trademarks, patents, commercial agreements, change of name, setting up foundations and trusts, and company law which involves the incorporation, due diligence and maintenance of companies.
